Terashita Falls and the Clear Stream

The river that flows through the grounds of Terashita Kannon and Ushioyama Shrine is home to char and, in the summer, it is a clear stream where you can see fireflies.
The surrounding area is home to a variety of trees, including Japanese horse chestnut, katsura, and Japanese walnut, which are common in streams, and the rocks are covered in vibrant moss.
